Who answers, and from what?
Study in China Q&A answers common questions about studying at a university in mainland China. Each answer is a short summary of an official page, with a link to that page.
Not an official site
This site is not run by, and is not affiliated with, the Ministry of Education, the China Scholarship Council, Campus China, the National Immigration Administration, any embassy or any university. It does not accept, forward or process applications, and an answer here is not a decision by any of those bodies.
How answers are written
- An answer is written only when an official page settles the question. There are 43 short answers so far, drawn from 11 official pages last read on 11 October 2026.
- The answer names the article, section or item it rests on, so you can read the original wording.
- Where the official page is silent, the answer says so. It does not guess.
- The site does not publish admission or award rates, does not rank universities or agents, and does not promise outcomes.
When a rule changes
Scholarship guides are reissued each year and visa guidance is updated from time to time. If an answer differs from the current official page, the official page is right.
Who runs it
The site is operated by UNILINK (UNILINK EDUCATION PTY. LTD), an education consultancy with operating entities in Australia, China and the United Kingdom. UNILINK advises students on study applications, including study in China. Reading the site is free.
Privacy
The site has no accounts and does not ask for personal details. The question search runs in your browser: what you type is matched against a list already on the page and is not sent to us. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP address and browser type in order to serve and protect the site. Links to official pages open on those organisations' own sites, which have their own privacy policies.
